Superhero – "I'm Dumb Jokes Man" (I Bore People With My  Dumb Jokes)

Family:  Mom Kay, Dad Jim, Brother Chad (I'm the youngest).  I was lucky to be raised in a home that loved God.  When I was young, I sometimes got mad because they made me go to church, looking back now I'm glad they did.

My Most Embarrassing Moment:  I was in Brazil on a mission trip.  We were at the dedication ceremony.  I was sitting in a "Rubbermaid" plastic chair.  I shifted my weight to move and it broke . . . wait, it gets worse.  I was given a new chair, within the next 5 minutes, it happened again.

My Favorite Ice Cream:  Reese's Peanut Butter Cup/Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

My Favorite Color:  Pink with purple dots (just joking) probably navy blue

My Favorite TV Show:  Any CSI or the like and "The Office"

My Favorite Movie:  Billy Madison; Tombstone; All of the Lethal Weapons

My Favorite Cartoon:  As a child (ok in Jr High) Aladdin; Now the old Warner Brother

My Favorite Scripture and Why:  Jeremiah 29:11  " I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."  No matter how bad life gets, it helps to remember this verse, even though I don't always understand.  God's plans ARE best.

Why Do I Work With Youth:  I never wanted to grow up (I'm a Toys-R-Us Kid).  Even as a youngster, I always wanted to work with young people, I never dreamed I would become a youth minister, but here I am, I had other plans, God's plans, however, were best.  I really enjoy watching the youth come to a deeper understanding of Christ in their "relationship" with Him.  To see them hunger for Him, and to want to share that with others.

Family:  Mom Donna, Dad Gary, Brother Stephen who live in Kansas City, MO.  Husband Tyson- we were married July 28, 2007

My Most Embarrassing Moment:  In Sunday school, I stood up to take the attendance book to the office and I guess my foot was asleep because I rolled my ankle and fell.  I got up to go back to my chair and it rolled again, so I fell again.  I decided to sit on the floor for the rest of Sunday school, haha.  Later that day, my ankle looked like it had a tennis ball on the side of it and my knees were all bruised up.

My Favorite Ice Cream:  Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or hot fudge sundaes

My Favorite Color:  greens and pink

My Favorite TV Show:  Criminal Minds, Dancing with the Stars or the Office
